Lately, it seems like most of the blogging activity is being done by the Grade 8s. They've got their Digital Literature Circles happening, so that's been a bit of a focus. However, the Grade 6/7 class have been doing some really great work as well. Recently, they were assigned a project which required them to research either an early Canadian explorer (John Cabot, Jacques Cartier, Samuel de Champlain, or Henry Hudson) or a Canadian First Nations group. After they did all of their research, they were asked to create a Glog that presented all of the information they found in an interesting way. Well, have they ever delivered! The Glogs look fantastic, and I think it would be a complete shame if I didn't share them with you.
